During the construction of an overbridge in village Balluana, a stone fell on two laborers standing below. One worker died in the accident, while another was injured. Sadar police station has kept the body in the civil hospital. The deceased has been identified as Lakkha (28), resident of Balluana and the injured Mandeep Singh has been referred from the Civil Hospital. Stone shattered after truck collides with bridge under construction on Malot Road And it fell on Mandeep, due to which Lakkha died on the spot, while Mandeep got badly injured. The injured was brought to the Civil Hospital for treatment, from there he was referred. The family members of the deceased have demanded justice from the police.
