Hockey: Indian women’s team’s third consecutive win

The Indian women’s hockey team continued their impressive performance in the Asian Hockey World Cup Qualifiers by securing their third consecutive victory. In their match against Thailand, the Indian team emerged victorious with a close scoreline of 5-4. The match started with a bang as India’s captain, Navjot, scored a goal within the first minute. Shortly after, Monika extended the team’s lead to 2-0 in the same minute. However, Thailand quickly responded with a goal, reducing the deficit to 2-1.
In the seventh minute, Monika showcased her skills once again, scoring her second goal of the match. The game remained intense, with both teams displaying their attacking prowess. In the last minute, Ajmina Kujur sealed the victory for India by finding the back of the net, securing a 5-4 win.
This victory follows the Indian team’s dominant performances in their previous matches. They defeated Malaysia 7-2 on Friday and secured a convincing 7-1 victory over Japan on Saturday. The Indian women’s team has showcased their strength and determination throughout the tournament, displaying excellent teamwork and individual skills.
