Harmanpreet the only Indian in the overseas draft of Big Bash League

Indian women’s cricket team captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, has been chosen in the overseas draft of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). She is the sole representative from India in the league’s overseas draft. Harmanpreet has been retained by the Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming season.
Harmanpreet’s inclusion in the WBBL is well-deserved, considering her impressive performances in the previous season. In the 2021-22 season, she scored a total of 406 runs in 12 innings for the Renegades, boasting an impressive average of 58.00 and a strike rate of 130.96. Her contributions included three half-centuries, with a top score of 81 not out.
