On September 9, the Malot | Lambi police station in India arrested a total of 20 individuals, including 12 women, who were involved in a prostitution business. Inspector Kuldeep Kaur and SI Karmjeet Singh provided details of the operation, stating that they received information about Bittu Kaur and her husband Balraj Singh, residents of Varding Kheda Hall, running a prostitution business from their home in Kirti Nagar. Additionally, Rajwinder Kaur, also known as Raju and a resident of Abub city, and Hardeep Singh, a resident of Mandi Kilianwali, were identified as individuals who had been involved in the prostitution business for a significant period of time.
The police were aware that conducting raids directly at the homes of these individuals could potentially result in customers being caught along with the women involved. Nevertheless, they proceeded with the operation and successfully apprehended Bittu Kaur, Balraj Singh, Rajwinder Kaur, and Hardeep Singh. Cases have been registered against them for their involvement in the illegal activity.
